CONSTRUCTION COMPANY URGENT HIRING!

JOB TITLE: CARPENTER

Location: DOHA QATAR

Job Summary:

The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials according to specifications. The role involves working on residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

· Construction and Installation: Build and install frameworks, including walls, floors, roofs, and other structures. Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other wood-based fixtures.

· Measure and Cut Materials: Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.

· Assemble and Fasten Materials: Fit and fasten materials together using nails, screws, dowels, adhesives, and other fasteners.

· Repair and Maintenance: Perform repair and maintenance on existing structures, ensuring durability and safety.

· Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and maintain clean and organized workspaces to prevent accidents.

· Material Selection: Identify the type and quality of materials needed for specific tasks and make decisions on the best materials for the job.

· Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, and laborers to complete projects efficiently.

· Quality Control: Ensure the quality of the carpentry work meets company and client standards.

· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry work on construction sites, preferably in residential or commercial projects.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in using carpentry tools such as saws, drills, chisels, and measuring instruments.

· Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.

· Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, and bending for long periods.

· Attention to Detail: Precise craftsmanship with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.

· Teamwork: Strong ability to work as part of a construction team and communicate effectively with colleagues.

· Knowledge of Building Codes: Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
