We are looking for a sustainability passionate professional to join our Corporate Sustainability Team. You will be responsible for the implementation of the global decarbonization strategy to ensure SGS achieves its environmental targets included in our corporate Sustainability Ambitions 2030, collaborating and influencing multiple stakeholders.
Job Description
- Responsible to prepare scope of work and methodology of the contract/proposal to ensure that the methods and other requirements are met.
- Responsible for the planning and execution of the consultancy projects (Industrial Safety, Occupational Safety, Technical Safety, Safety Survey and Occupational Safety Audits).
- Develop and Promote the Safety Services including but not limited to Industrial Safety, Occupational Safety, Technical Safety etc.
- Participate and perform HAZID and HAZOP review workshops
- Development of HSE Plans and Procedures as per project requirement.
- Manage and execute technical studies for various projects within the field of competencies as Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Consequence Modeling/ Fire Risk Assessment Studies (FERA), Building Risk Assessment (BRA), Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA), ALARP Study, COMAH/Safety Case Studies, PHA/ Bow-tie Analysis, F&G Mapping Studies, Dropped Object Studies, Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis (ESSA)
- Ensure to follow the local and international standards and guidelines for the Technical Safety and Occupational Safety Studies and/or audits.
- Train and supervise the team for the safety survey and audits.
- Sales and Marketing of Safety consultancy and advisory services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/ industrial safety/Occupational Safety / or any other Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- Strong collaboration skills; ability to facilitate service team approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and effective time management skills.
- 4-5 years relevant experience in the oil / gas industry.
- Must have been in CONSULTANT’s Organisation for at least 3 years in similar position and must have previous Consultancy experience.
