Social Media Executive

Roles and Responsibilities:


1. **Content Creation and Management:**  

  - Develop engaging, creative, and innovative content for regular posts across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).

  - Coordinate with design teams for visuals, videos, and other multimedia content.

  - Ensure all content adheres to the brand’s tone of voice, image, and guidelines.


2. **Social Media Strategy Implementation:**  

  - Execute the social media strategy, focusing on increasing brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.

  - Schedule and publish posts according to a content calendar, ensuring consistency across all platforms.

  - Monitor trends, track competitors, and suggest innovative ideas to enhance the brand’s online presence.


3. **Community Management:**  

  - Interact with followers, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  - Foster engagement by encouraging conversations, answering queries, and addressing concerns.

  - Identify and manage any negative feedback, escalating issues to relevant departments when necessary.


4. **Analytics and Reporting:**  

  - Track and measure the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, Twitter Analytics, etc.

  - Generate reports on key metrics such as engagement, reach, impressions, and conversions, and provide actionable insights.

  - Adjust strategies based on data analysis to optimize campaign performance.



6. **Paid Social Media Advertising:**  

  - Manage social media advertising campaigns across platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).

  - Develop ad copy, target audience criteria, and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and meet KPIs.

  - Monitor ad spend and adjust strategies to ensure cost-effective campaigns.


8. **Campaign Development and Execution:**  

  - Work closely with marketing teams to develop and execute social media campaigns aligned with larger marketing strategies.

  - Create promotional plans for product launches, events, or brand collaborations, ensuring comprehensive social media support.

  - Coordinate giveaways, contests, or special promotions to engage the audience.


9. **Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:**  

  - Liaise with the marketing, PR, and sales teams to ensure social media efforts align with broader company goals and campaigns.

  - Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure messaging is consistent across all channels.


10. **Crisis Management:**  

  - Monitor social media platforms for any potential crises or negative sentiment.

  - Implement the brand’s crisis communication plan and coordinate with PR teams to handle issues professionally and promptly.


11. **Content Calendar Management:**  

  - Plan, create, and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent content delivery.

  - Ensure the calendar is aligned with key brand events, holidays, and relevant dates for optimal engagement.
