Job Description

Job Summary: The Forklift Driver is responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility. This role ensures efficient and safe handling of goods to support inventory management and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and placement.
• Inspect forklifts before use and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and manage inventory.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator license/certificate.
• Previous experience operating forklifts is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Working Conditions: The role involves working in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and potentially hazardous materials.
