Job Description

Safety Coordinator

Assist Assistant Chief Engineer / Chief Engineer to hold the technical overall responsibility of all Fire Life Safety issues. Strong accent is to be given to technical service towards the guest as a prime goal and to maintain and develop the attitude of the related staff as a second. Close co-ordination between all related departments as well as to his technical supervisor from the Movenpick Head Office facilitates his/her task. A strong accent has to be given to preventive maintenance and relevant problems.

Candidate Must Accomplish Responsibilities And Goals As Outlined Below

  • Preventive Maintenance & Repair
  • Full usage and update of the DynaWin system
  • Handling and management and sufficient storing of spare parts.
  • Safety & Fire
  • Perform as per OSM Standards and in line with the 7 key issues and 4 corner stones.
  • Be fully aware of the SAM of the day
  • Proper grooming at all times
  • Attend training classes as per schedule
  • Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
  • Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities

To maintain our standards of quality and service and facilities in all departments over which he/she has responsibility and authority. He/she is responsible for the overall smooth, efficient and economical running of the entire Engineering department.

Qualifications

Education: Mechanic or Electric College/University education. (preferred but not

required)

Certification: Degree in engineering or equivalent and The Occupational Health

and Safety Supervisor License.

Experience: Minimum 3 years
