Technical Sales Engineer
Trapezium Global Metals LLC-FZ is looking to hire a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with strong technical knowledge in the metals and steel industry, capable of identifying and developing new business opportunities, and providing excellent technical support to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and acquire new customers in the oil and gas, metals and steel sectors to expand the company’s business portfolio.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide technical expertise and advice to customers, offering tailored solutions that meet their specific project needs.
- Actively manage the sales process from initial inquiry to closing, including preparing technical proposals, presentations, and quotations.
- Collaborate closely with the internal teams (sales, operations, logistics) to ensure timely project delivery, material collection, and coordination.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, contributing insights to the sales and product development teams to stay ahead in the market.
- Support negotiations and manage terms, ensuring both company and client needs are met.
- Assist in resolving any technical or logistical issues that arise during project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market intelligence through reporting systems.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering degree is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in oil and gas or steel manufacturing/trading.
- Enthusiastic, patient, and persistent with a “never give up” attitude.
- A quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing business and market dynamics.
- Strong self-motivation and goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary of AED 3,000.00 - AED 5,000.00 per month, based on experience.
- Commission structure based on performance.
- Yearly bonus dependent on individual and company success.
