Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Consulting Engineer who will play a key role in designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting cutting-edge technology solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will collaborate with customers and internal teams to drive technology transitions, align solutions with business outcomes, and support the deployment of sophisticated products and services in large-scale environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, execution, and optimization of technology solutions for customer projects and accounts.
  • Collaborate with customers to plan, design, configure, and diagnose solutions to accelerate customer outcomes.
  • Assist in the integration and implementation of systems, tools, and service assurance practices.
  • Provide technical support during presale activities and help translate business requirements into solution designs.
  • Build customer simulations in test labs to validate and resolve complex problems and compatibility issues.
  • Create and deliver customer-facing collateral such as portals, documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Align technical deliverables with customer business goals and influence solution architectures and service adoption.
  • Comply with company policies and processes, utilizing relevant tools to effectively support professional services’ strategies and goals.


Role-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal and external resources (e.g., account teams, partners) to strategize, deploy, and optimize services and solutions.
  • Lead and manage tasks or project implementations for assigned customer engagements.
  • Capture and share lessons learned, contributing to new implementation methodologies and techniques.
  • Develop and review project deliverables, including design recommendations, high-level and low-level designs, and implementation/change management plans.
  • Build and leverage test environments to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Use software tools and skills to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot products and solutions.
  • Act as the focal point for problem resolution during customer engagements, ensuring quick and proper resolution of technical challenges.


Scope:

  • Collaborate with fellow Consulting Engineers to ensure optimal resource allocation and meet customer needs effectively.
  • Engage with a range of stakeholders, from individual contributors to managers, ensuring clear communication and goal alignment.
  • Provide technical input to the Sales team to help develop and present the best solutions for customers.


Complexity:

  • Work on both moderately and highly complex problems, evaluating multiple alternative solutions before reaching a decision.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver the most effective outcomes for customer environments.


Required Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-6 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Expertise in managing large-scale environments, with hands-on experience in ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) solutions.
  • Double-CCIE certification preferred, or the ability to work at a peer level with customer-side architects.


Project-Specific Requirements:

  • Act as a Senior Network Consulting Engineer (NCE) in a large-scale ACI environment managed by our services.
  • Collaborate closely with customer-side architects to provide scoping, preparation, and design guidance during EMEA business hours.
