Job Role: Finance Specialist (ADERP Experience Required)

Place of Work: UAE

Duration: Up to 12 months

Overview:

We are seeking experienced Finance Specialists with strong ADERP experience to manage and support key financial operations within our client’s organization. The selected candidates will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing payroll, budgeting, tax compliance, and handling fixed assets. This role requires a high level of expertise in finance, internal controls, and regulatory reporting.

Job Description:

General Ledger and Reporting:

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Record all revenue and sales-related entries, including billings, collections, allocations, and other financial transactions.

Fixed Assets Management:

  • Oversee the lifecycle of fixed assets, from acquisition to disposal, including booking, depreciation calculations, and registry maintenance.

Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasting:

  • Support the development, monitoring, and execution of budgets and financial forecasts.

Payroll Management:

  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accurate disbursement.

Treasury Management:

  • Reconcile settlements with bank statements, ensuring proper treasury management and cash flow accuracy.

Internal Controls and Process Improvement:

  • Evaluate and enhance internal controls over financial reporting and processes.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.

Policy Development and Documentation:

  • Prepare and update Finance Delegation of Authority (DOA), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other necessary documentation.
  • Develop finance policies and procedures in alignment with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:

  • Manage reporting to regulatory bodies (e.g., DOF, MOF, MOCA) ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.

Audit Management:

  • Handle and coordinate audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditors.

Qualifications and Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Experience in a similar industry or with government-related projects.
  • 7+ years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on general ledger, budgeting, payroll, and tax management.
  • Extensive experience with ADERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
