Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Cloud Security professional at TSME. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to cybersecurity, physical security, network security, and information security to ensure the protection of organizational data and systems in Amman.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in securing and maintaining Azure cloud environments.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) is a MUST.
• Strong expertise in Cloud Security and Cybersecurity Incident Response.
• Proficiency in Azure Active Directory and MS Defender for Cloud.
• Solid understanding of endpoint protection and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate with teams and manage client relationships effectively.

Job Description

• Implement and manage security controls and threat protection.
• Oversee identity and access management in Azure.
• Ensure data protection using Azure technologies.
• Configure and manage network security defenses.
• Collect, analyze, and respond to Azure logs.
• Manage and respond to security incidents effectively.
• Perform risk and security analyses for internal and client environments.
• Design and implement security solutions tailored to Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and recommend security strategies to establish secure and well-managed cloud environments.
• Apply security components and configurations to protect identity, access, data, applications, and networks.
• Vulnerability and Compliance Management:
• Manage cloud security by identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Conduct threat modeling and implement protective measures.
• Ensure cloud services maintain operational standards, confidentiality, availability, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Administer MS Defender for Cloud on Azure subscriptions, addressing all recommendations and alert closures.
• Enable endpoint security features and recommendations for corporate users, virtual machines, and devices.
• Handle and secure Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines and Network Security Groups.
