Job duties and responsibilities
- Capable of preparing clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for MEP projects.
- Capable of utilizing knowledge of various drafting packages and software to complete drawings.
- Capable of preparing MEP shop drawing, plan, section, schematic diagram, schedule of equipment, equipment installation details.
- Proficient in making final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
- Capable of utilizing knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings
Job qualifications/requirements
- 2 – 2 ½ years of experience working as a MEP draftsman in any GCC country, preferably candidates with UAE experience.
- Diploma or professional qualification in mechanical engineering.
- Hands-on experience using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Able to start working immediately with little supervision.
- Ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
