Role Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Strategy Associate to join our team. This critical role will support our business strategies, focusing on deal origination, execution, and management within the cryptocurrency market. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in finance, a deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, and exceptional strategic and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Origination and Execution: Identify, evaluate, and execute business opportunities in the cryptocurrency market.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform strategy and identify trends and opportunities.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize deal flow and maximize value for the company.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and partners.
- Due Diligence: Perform detailed due diligence on potential deals, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and compliance checks.
- Data Room Preparation: Manage the data room for potential investors, ensuring all documents and information are accurate and up-to-date.
- Investor Reports: Prepare comprehensive reports to keep stakeholders informed of deal progress and company performance.
- Coordination: Ensure smooth deal execution by coordinating with lawyers, shareholders, and other relevant parties.
- Company Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders, including investors and board members.
- Reporting and Documentation: Support deal proposals and management decisions with detailed reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of deals.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on cryptocurrency market developments and continuously improve strategies and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in strategy, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field. Experience in the cryptocurrency industry is highly desirable.
