Position: Manager / Senior Manager - Project Management Office

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager / Senior Manager to lead the Strategy Project Management Office (PMO) for a bank in Tripoli, Libya, to ensure the successful implementation of its future expansion and digitization strategy. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in corporate finance and/or banking, either directly or indirectly through consulting firms. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in project management, if possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our Strategy Partner to set project timelines and milestones.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive responsibility matrix for the Project.
• Support in implementing the strategic initiatives of the bank and support in the development of the strategic sub-initiative.
• Ensure alignment with the overall project goals.
• Prepare and present bi-weekly reports to stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
• Act as the ground operator, ensuring smooth execution of project tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• 6-10 years of experience in corporate finance and/or banking, emphasizing project management.
• Experience working in or with consulting firms is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
