Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to design, install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection engineering, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop fire alarm systems in compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems, ensuring they function correctly.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
- Conduct inspections and tests of fire alarm systems to ensure they are operational and meet regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
- Maintain accurate records of system installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm system design, installation, and maintenance.
- NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
- Proficiency in fire alarm design software and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
