We are seeking a results-driven Outdoor Sales Representative with a good background in freight forwarding or logistics sales. The ideal candidate will have an existing portfolio of clients, a solid understanding of global shipping, and a passion for business development. Your main goal will be to acquire new clients, maintain existing relationships, and contribute to the company’s growth in the region.
Responsibilities
• Meet and exceed sales targets
• Successfully create business from new customers
• Identify and target potential clients in need of freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain solutions.
• Generate new business leads through cold visits, networking, referrals, and industry connections.
• Meet or exceed targets related to client acquisition.
• Liaise with internal operations teams to ensure smooth execution of client shipments.
• Regularly report sales activities and pipeline updates to the Sales Manager or Managing Director.
• Ensure excellent customer service by resolving issues and ensuring timely follow-up.
Qualifications
• Proven experience (1–2+ years) in outdoor or B2B sales within the freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics industry.
• Established client base or strong industry network with the ability to bring business quickly.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping services (air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, incoterms).
• Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and generating revenue.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (not mandatory if the candidate has strong industry experience).
• Professional, client-focused attitude with strong follow-up and organizational skills.
