- Supervise day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and delivery schedules.
- Review production plans and coordinate with planning and maintenance teams to ensure machine readiness and material availability.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical documents related to metal fabrication and mechanical assembly.
- Monitor and enhance manufacturing processes for welding, fitting, machining, , and assembly.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve process efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Analyze production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support the commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of air compressors and steam boilers.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and performance data.
- Assist in the training and development of production staff and technicians.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.3–5 years of hands-on experience in a production role within a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication techniques, and mechanical assembly.Familiarity with pressure vessels, ASME codes, and boiler standards is a plus.Proficient in reading technical drawings and using AutoCAD or similar software.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Good leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
