- Seasoning Development & Technical Expertise
• Formulate and optimize seasonings for snacks, meat, noodles, and other applications suited to the Egyptian palate, using Company's diverse ingredient portfolio.
• Ensure flavor profile, aroma, and stability of seasonings align with Egyptian consumer preferences.
•Develop prototypes and lead taste evaluations to fine-tune seasonings for the local market.
• Provide hands-on technical support, sharing expertise in ingredient functionality, product formulation, and seasoning application.
• Address and resolve challenges related to product consistency, flavor retention, and shelf life to ensure seasonings maintain their quality during processing and storage.
2. Market-Specific Insights & Collaboration
• Stay updated with trends in Egypt’s snack and culinary market to ensure new seasonings meet emerging consumer demands.
• Gather and incorporate insights from local consumers, chefs, and retailers to refine product offerings.
• Work closely with Solution Developers, Production, and Marketing teams to ensure projects align with market requirements and timelines.
• Partner with suppliers to evaluate and select raw materials, focusing on both performance and cost-effectiveness.
3. Process Optimization & Quality Assurance
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scale-up capabilities of seasoning production.
• Support the transition from pilot-scale trials to full-scale manufacturing, ensuring product integrity is maintained.
• Establish quality control protocols for seasonings and conduct regular sensory evaluations to meet desired standards.
• Execute stability testing, confirming products meet required shelf-life specifications in the local climate and storage conditions.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
• Document formulations, processing techniques, and test results in detail.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations, providing product specifications for internal and external stakeholders
Bachelors in food science, or related field.Minimum 3 to 5 years in food product development, with substantial experience in seasoning and flavor formulation, particularly for the snack and noodle categories.Very good in English, Proven ability to create consumer-preferred seasonings, understanding of flavor chemistry, and familiarity with Egypt’s culinary landscape is highly desirable.
