Rotem SRS Egypt is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to support and manage core HR functions in our dynamic railway service operation. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing recruitment, onboarding, performance monitoring, staff development, payroll, and HR compliance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department managers to define staffing needs and competency levels.
- Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions for all roles.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: advertising, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Organize onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new staff.
- Maintain and update the organizational chart and employee training records.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives across departments.
- Monitor staff competency levels and support career development plans.
- Oversee accurate payroll processing and salary administration.
- Track employee attendance and leaves with precision.
- Ensure HR systems and processes are up-to-date and compliant with labor laws.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and employee engagement programs.
- Handle disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and employee grievances.
- Analyze exit interviews and HR data to support retention and continuous improvement.
- Generate HR reports for internal and external use.
- Maintain HR files and personnel records with confidentiality and accuracy.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.3–5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist.Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and HR best practices.Experience with HRIS systems, recruitment platforms, and payroll processing.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
