▪ Regularly conduct observations and assess the developmental needs and learning styles of the children in the class to guide the curriculum implementation, classroom management, and lesson planning, etc., as well as, to decide on the best and most effective tools and resources to utilize.
▪ Design the monthly, weekly & daily lesson plans for the class ensuring that they promote each child's growth in the areas identified in her/his assessment and the agreed-upon Yearly Learning Objectives.
- Recognize and consider the background, special needs or talents, interests, style and learning pace of each child.
- Help children learn to think creatively, to solve problems independently, and to respect themselves and others.
▪ Foster a warm & trusting learning environment and model cooperative social behavior through games, stories, and group activities to assist children in forming satisfying relationships with other children and adults.
▪ Create and implement a variety of developmentally appropriate games, activities, structured experiences, and learning opportunities that meet the children’s individual and group needs, as well as, encourage curiosity, exploration, problem solving and character development.
▪ Encourage and engage with children in singing, dancing, rhythmic activities, and in use of art materials, to promote self-expression and appreciation of esthetic experience.
▪ A relevant bachelor’s degree is a must.▪ Working experience with children ranging from three months old to five years old in an early childhood development setting is preferred.▪ Dynamic and positive character able to inspire, influence and engage children and guide them to develop their skills & abilities and realize their full potential ▪ knowledge and understanding of childcare regulations and best practices.▪ Excellent working knowledge of the computer and its applications.▪ Proficiency in both written & spoken English / French. Arabic is a definite plus.
