1. Safeguarding & Pastoral Care
- Ensure pupil wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Promote school ethos, values, and positive relationships.
- Adhere to policies, engage in pastoral and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain clear communication; serve as form tutor.
2. Pupil Support
- Assess individual pupil strengths and needs.
- Facilitate inclusive learning and independence.
- Provide tailored instructional support and interventions.
- Address behavioral/emotional needs; manage IEPs.
- Engage parents; support pupils during exams; track progress.
3. Teacher Collaboration
- Assist teachers with planning and implementing IEPs.
- Communicate regularly with teachers.
- Act as liaison between teachers and pupils.
- Handle administrative tasks (grading, record-keeping).
4. School-wide Responsibilities
- Support across all key stages.
- Participate in school events and visits.
- Collaborate within teams; maintain confidentiality.
- Attend professional development and undertake additional duties assigned.
Excellent proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).Strong Science and Maths skills up to at least GCSE standard.Experience working with SEND pupils and/or teaching.
