• Identifying the best series of activities in the correct order for each shipment to construct a supply chain plan assures delivering the requested materials to the right warehouse with the minimum cost and in the optimum time.
• Choosing the suitable software(s) and use to develop the required system shall assist in performing the mentioned activities.
• Keeping in contact with all concerned departments to update the actual status for each shipment/ PO.
• Coordinating with all plan’s stakeholders to ensure that they are working towards achieving the common aim.
• Monitoring each activity planned time versus actual and define the impact on the planned delivery date.
• Providing periodic activity sheets to the concerned departments contain the required activities from their side along with relevant deadlines that keep the plan on track.
• Highlighting the actual/ forecasted deviation from the plan, if any, to the concerned departments, and to the top management if necessary, and suggesting the required corrective actions.
• Analyzing lessons learned from the concerned departments based on their practice, performing the required analysis and suggesting enhanced decision for the upcoming similar shipments/ POs.
• Providing periodic reports to the top management showing overall status for pending shipments/ POs, or for specific shipment/ PO upon request.
