Procurement Engineer


Responsibilities


Vendor Management:

  • Identify potential suppliers and vendors.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on criteria such as cost, quality, delivery time, and reliability.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.

Sourcing and Negotiation:

  • Source materials, components, and services required for projects or production.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements.
  • Work to achieve cost savings and efficiency in procurement processes.

Purchase Order Management:

  • Generate and manage purchase orders.
  • Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Resolve any issues related to orders, such as delays or quality concerns.

Cost Analysis:

  • Conduct cost analysis to determine the most cost-effective suppliers and materials.
  • Track and report cost trends and variations.

Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with quality control and inspection teams to ensure that purchased materials meet required standards.
  • Address quality issues with suppliers and implement corrective actions.
  • Contract Management:
  • Assist in the preparation and management of contracts with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and finance, to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in the procurement function.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering.
  • Very good communication and analytical skill.
  • Very Good Command in English Language.
  • Years of experience: From 3 : 5 years .
