Internal

·       Collaborate with employees and departments across GDMO to support them in their engineering satellite requirements

·       Collaborate with other Engineering roles to ensure the overall support from the Engineering team to GDMO

·       Collaborate with other Corporate Support departments, such as Procurement and Finance for procurement, contracting and finance/budget requirements

External

·       Collaborate with vendors and partners for support required on systems, upgrades and maintenance

Technical Skills

·       Expert: Knowledge of broadcast media industry

·       Expert: Knowledge of satellite communication systems

·       Proficient: Knowledge of existing regulatory laws and procedures within UAE

·       Proficient: Command of written and spoken Arabic and English

·     A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role

Education and Qualification Required

·     Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

·     On-time completion of maintenance activities and upgrades (%)

·     Satellite projects completion rate (%)

·     Uptime for uplink facilities (%)
