Carl Zeiss Vision, an innovative and leading foundation in the field of optical lenses and vision diagnostic instruments, is looking for an experienced business development representative in partnership with our distributor in Tunisia. The candidate will be based in Tunis.
Responsibilities:
- Generate growth by regularly visiting existing clients in Tunisia.
- Prospecting, opening and developing new accounts in Tunisia.
- Present current and new products.
- Support our partner's customers and representatives in Tunisia with training on products, sales techniques and the ordering process.
- Initiate and support our partner's marketing promotions in Tunisia to ensure the visibility of the ZEISS brand and improve sales.
- Work in the field with customers in their own points of sale to improve sales processes.
- Support the customer service of our partner in Tunisia.
- Ability to actively close sales.
- Ability to use reports and presentations to effectively manage relationships with our partner in Tunisia.
- Support our partner with the registration of optical instruments and lenses.
- Report to the Carl Zeiss Vision Regional Sales Manager on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to digest, understand and verbalize highly technical products.
- Demonstrated professional sales skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication in French and interpersonal skills. English is a plus.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Good knowledge of the optics profession.
- Willing and able to move regularly in Tunisia.
- Have a driver's license.
Education:
- Experienced sales agent (minimum 5 years) in the field of optics, optometrist or optician.
