Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain and update accounting records for the business, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments related to the construction and manufacturing activities of architectural metal and glass products.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare VAT and Zakat reports, ensuring compliance with local Saudi regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for different projects or business units.
Project Cost Management:
- Track and allocate project costs for architectural metal and glass works, ensuring accuracy in the classification of expenses and revenue recognition.
- Provide cost analysis and budgeting assistance for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing of clients, contractors, and suppliers, with clear and thorough documentation for construction and fabrication activities.
Reconciliation:
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure that financial transactions are correctly recorded.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable balances to ensure accuracy in reporting.
Tax Compliance:
- Ensure the business complies with VAT, Zakat, and other regulatory requirements as per Saudi regulations.
- Assist in tax filings and work with auditors for audits and financial statement preparation.
- Collaboration with Project Teams:
- Work closely with project managers and procurement to ensure that all financial transactions are appropriately recorded and aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Assist with cost control and identify any financial discrepancies or issues during project execution.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Maintain internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies, fraud, or errors.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies and local Saudi regulations.
Year-End Closing and Audit Preparation:
- Assist in the year-end closing process and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
- Support the audit process by providing detailed financial records and responding to audit queries.
Skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or architectural metal and glass industries.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles in Saudi Arabia (VAT, Zakat, etc.).
- Experience working with project-based accounting, cost allocation, and budgeting.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is preferred.
