We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Technical Manager / Design Manager to lead the design coordination and technical delivery of a complex MEP and ELV stadium project in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and coordinating all technical and design aspects of the project to ensure compliance, functionality, and smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design review, coordination, and integration of all MEP and ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and oversee the preparation, review, and approval of design drawings, technical submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documents.
• Ensure all designs are compliant with project specifications, client requirements, and local/international standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, design teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve design-related issues promptly.
• Support value engineering initiatives and provide technical solutions to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Participate in technical meetings, design workshops, and interface coordination sessions.
• Ensure timely release of construction drawings and support the construction team with technical clarifications.
• Monitor technical risks, identify clashes, and manage the resolution process using BIM and coordination tools.
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and vendor documents.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all technical data and design files.

Skills

• Minimum 15 years of total experience in technical management or design coordination of MEP and ELV systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in stadium or large-scale infrastructure projects with strong design coordination exposure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other design software and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of international standards, local codes, and technical procedures.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple design disciplines and interfaces effectively.
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Willingness to be based in Saudi Arabia for the full contract duration.
