We are hiring an experienced and resourceful Procurement Manager to lead all procurement activities for a large-scale MEP and ELV stadium project in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project-specific procurement strategies aligned with project schedule and budget.
- Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors for MEP and ELV works.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze bids, and lead commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with engineering and planning teams to ensure timely release of material and equipment requirements.
- Oversee procurement tracking logs and monitor supplier performance for quality and timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, technical specifications, and procurement procedures.
- Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and logistics planning.
- Control project procurement costs and support value engineering initiatives.
- Liaise with the commercial team for budgeting, forecasting, and variation support.
- Maintain proper procurement records and documentation for audits and reporting.
Skills
- Minimum 12 years of total experience in procurement within MEP and ELV construction projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
- Proven experience in stadium or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP and ELV systems, materials, and suppliers.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office.
- Good understanding of Saudi Arabian market and import regulations.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a plus.
- Willingness to be based in Saudi Arabia for the full duration of the project.
