Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical systems, providing effective solutions.
• Rewire full properties, including residential and commercial buildings.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
• Carry out heavy lifting during installations or repairs when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrician in residential and commercial settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble components accurately.
• Familiarity with wiring regulations and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Competence in using testing equipment to diagnose and repair faults.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
• Experience in commercial driving is a plus (for transporting equipment).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.

We are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer / Plumber to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas installations, maintenance, and plumbing systems, with a keen focus on safety and compliance. This role involves working on both residential and commercial properties, ensuring all work meets industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and plumbing fixtures.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with gas safety regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in gas and plumbing systems, providing effective solutions.
• Perform general plumbing work related to gas installations.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
• Carry out heavy lifting when required during installations or repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of work completed, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Gas Engineer / Plumber in residential and commercial settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to assemble components accurately.
• Familiarity with Gas Safe regulations and plumbing standards.
• Competence in diagnosing and repairing gas leaks, boiler issues, and heating system faults.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
• Experience in commercial driving may be beneficial (for transporting equipment).
• Welding experience is a plus but not essential.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
