Job Title: Furniture Painter
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Painter to join our team. The Furniture Painter will be responsible for preparing and painting furniture pieces, including wood, metal, and other materials, to achieve a high-quality finish.
Painting and Finishing:
- Apply various types of paint (chalk, latex, oil-based, milk paint, etc.) to furniture using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Utilize decorative techniques like distressing, glazing, and staining to create custom finishes.
- Ensure even coverage, smooth finishes, and high-quality results on all furniture pieces.
- Apply primers, fillers, or sealants to ensure smooth surfaces for painting.
- Repair and restore damaged furniture, ensuring structural integrity before painting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a furniture painter or in a similar role in furniture restoration, painting, or home improvement.
