Safwa Engineering and MEG & Partners are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing mechanical engineering projects. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and equipment, managing project timelines and budgets, and providing technical guidance and support to project teams. You will also collaborate with clients and vendors to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee mechanical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project requirements and specifications.
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and equipment in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Implement quality assurance and control measures to ensure that mechanical installations meet the required standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of mechanical systems to verify proper installation and performance.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems during the design and construction phase.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and test results.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software ( AutoCAD, Revit ) and project management tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Safety and Fire Fighting certification.
