Job Description
Health and Safety Officer for Playground Facility is responsible for overseeing the safety, regulatory compliance, and overall HSSE standards of playground and facility. This position includes formulating safety procedures, performing regular inspections, and ensuring the highest safety standards for users and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of playground equipment and facilities to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards as per DM regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Assess potential risks associated with playground usage and recommend measures to mitigate these risks.
- Policy Development: Create and update safety policies and procedures specifically tailored for playground areas.
- Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs for staff on playground safety, equipment and emergency response procedures. Ensure all staff has mandatory certification
- Incidents: Investigate accidents or near-misses in playground areas, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
- Emergency Preparedness: Establish and maintain emergency response plans for playground areas, including first aid protocols, incident reporting procedures and fire drill.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all playground areas and F&B department meet local regulations regarding Health & Safety
- Maintenance Coordination: Work with maintenance teams to ensure prompt repairs and maintenance of playground equipment and facilities.
