ITHR Technologies Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our dynamic team onsite in Abu Dhabi. We are looking for an innovative and results-driven professional to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures that drive business insights and analytics. • Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines to process large volumes of data efficiently.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party systems, ensuring high data quality and consistency.
• Data Storage Solutions: Develop and optimize data storage architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based storage solutions.
• Data Transformation and Processing: Implement ETL/ELT processes to clean, transform, and enrich data for analytical and operational uses.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve the performance of data systems, ensuring minimal latency, robustness, and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and implement solutions that drive insights and decision-making.
• Data Governance and Security: Implement data governance policies, data quality controls, and security best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation and follow industry best practices for version control, coding standards, and process automation.

• Extensive Data Engineering Experience: Minimum of 10 years in data engineering roles, working on large-scale data systems and platforms.
• Proficiency in Programming: Strong hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Advanced SQL Expertise: Demonstrated ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize query performance.
• Data Integration and ETL Tools: Expertise with ETL/ELT tools such as Apache NiFi, Informatica, or AWS Glue.
• Big Data and Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Data Modeling: Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and designing data warehouse schemas (star schema, snowflake).
• Experience with Databases: Extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redshift.
• Data Streaming: Experience with real-time data processing tools such as Kafka or Kinesis.
• Data Security and Governance: Understanding of data security, privacy regulations, and governance practices.
• Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to solve complex problems with data-driven solutions.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD for data pipelines, and automation.
• Familiarity with machine learning pipelines and working with data scientists.
• Certifications in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or Azure Data Engineer Associate.
