The Role


Your Responsibilities Will Include


  • Implementing sales strategies in alignment with the company's annual business plans and objectives for maximum brand penetration and profitability
  • Achieving the growth and sales targets of the store
  • Adhering to store operational procedures- timings, store security, discounts, visual merchandizing, tidiness, are as per company standards
  • Maximizing customer satisfaction level- all customers are attended, customer requirements, aspirations understood and actioned; if unable to request store manager to take over
  • Ensuring proper amounts of payments are received from the customer and proper change/balance amounts are returned; ensure proper procedures are followed in case of Credit Card sales.
  • In case of non-availability of a product, understanding the exact product requirement of the customer, record it in the Order Book and communicate the same to the Store Manager; follow-up on the same
  • Receiving repair orders from customer, understand exact requirements, prepare repair bags and ensure all repair bags are kept in the proper designated place; ensure all repair orders are entered in the relevant register and send to the Workshop
  • Following-up on the repair orders for timely delivery; Inspect and ensure all repairs have been carried out in accordance with the customer's requirements before informing the customer.
  • Informing and following-up with customers of booked and repaired products and report action to Store manager
  • Checking the accuracy and proper functioning of equipment like weighing scales, calculators etc.
  • Inspecting all jewelry on display or kept in the back-up stock, and identify, separate and sort all products that require any attention e.g. cleaning, polishing, rhodium, etc. and remove non-conforming products from display/stock for necessary arrangements.
  • Ensuring adequate quantities of all packing material for branded and nonbranded jewelry, including boxes, pouches, carry bags, etc. are available and stored in a proper location and report low inventory or non-availability of any items to Store manager immediately
