Job description:

• Preparation of ecological and environmental reports i.e., EDD, TOR, EIA, PER, CEMP, OEMP, Mangrove, etc.
• Meeting with governing authorities to present and discuss project progress and reports.
• Plan and execute Environmental Management Systems.
• Managing Environmental committees at technical and management level.
• Analysis of Environmental parameters.
• Management of Environmental Projects.
• Develop environmental procedures, systems, proposals, and strategies.
• Advice and Provide strategies to the team for successful on-time submissions.
• Coordinate/prepare environmental regulatory required reports, permit monitoring or reporting.
• Internal and External Environment audits preparation.
• Identification of habitat on project sites with respect to the EAD guidelines.
• Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation reports.
• Design projects leading to environmental protection, such as water reclamation facilities, air pollution. Control systems and operations that convert waste to energy.
• Provide technical support for environmental remediation projects and for legal actions.
• Analyse scientific data and do quality-control checks.
• Monitor the progress of environmental improvement programs.
• Inspect industrial and municipal facilities and programs to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Provide presentation at various stages of new projects to assure environmental concerns and compliance be addressed.

Qualifications:

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience as an Environment Engineer.
• Estidama qualification is a must and any other Green qualifications (LEED GA , LEED AP) would be a plus.
• Must have specialist knowledge on Environmental Permits and approval process, Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP, PER , EIA), Environmental Management procedures, and knowledge on applicable national and international environmental laws, regulations and standards.
• Could have a sound knowledge on identification, assessment, monitoring and management of air emissions, water and wastewater collection, treatment and disposal, etc.
• Must have good analytical skills and Reporting / presentation skills
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel & Power Point
