We are working with a Master Development Company based the Abu Dhabi looking for Environment Manager and oversee the environmental aspects of a large-scale development including, but not limited to, marine construction, dredging and reclamation, infrastructure road works, and buildings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the project is conducted in a manner that meets all relevant environmental regulations and guidelines, as well as minimizing the impact of the project on the environment.

JD

 Oversight of environmental assessments and initiatives for the project.

 Develop and implement mitigation measures and management plans to minimize the impact of the project on the environment.

 Monitor and report on the environmental performance of the project.

 Ensure that all project personnel are aware of and adhere to environmental policies and procedures.

 Manage and oversee environmental monitoring programs.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 Bachelor's degree in an environment related field, such as Environmental Science, Marine Biology etc.

 At least 5 years of experience in environmental management, preferably in the context of marine construction, dredging and reclamation projects.

 Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi & UAE environmental regulations and guidelines

Desirable:

 Proficient in using GIS software, including ArcMap, QGIS, or other related tools.
