Our partner is looking for Network Support Engineer working on their prestigious projects for a long term contract based Dubai. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in network infrastructure, security, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Support and implement computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and other data communication systems
- Install and configure network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, including network congestion, connectivity issues, and security threats
- Implement and maintain network security protocols and technologies to protect against cyber threats, such as malware, viruses, and hacking attempts
- Analyze network traffic and performance data to identify and resolve issues and optimize network performance
- Collaborate with other IT professionals, including system administrators, security analysts, and software developers, to ensure effective communication and coordination of network-related tasks
- Document network infrastructure, configurations, and processes to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Manage network-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions, ensuring timely and successful completion
Your Qualifications
- Fluent in Arabic (native language) and English
- UAE driving license and own transport essentia l
- BSc. degree in a technical field related to Information Technology
- Minimum 3 years in Operating Systems support, end user device troubleshooting & support
- Adaptable
- Customer service focused
- Problem solving and innovation capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal/nonverbal
- Interpersonal Skills
- Must have extensive Office 365 experience, all applications, with administration exposure if possible
- Experience with a recognized ITSM tool (Remedy, ManageEngine, ServiceDesk, Ivanti, etc)
- Must have a basic understanding of networks
- Certification in Microsoft Technologies
