Overview


As a professional videographer, you plan and organize video shoots, manage equipment, and capture high-quality footage. Your tasks include location scouting, selecting props, and coordinating with the team. You handle post-production, such as editing and color correction, and ensure proper storage of digital files.


Main Duties and Responsibilities


  • Plan and organize video shoots, including location scouting, props, and talent, if necessary.
  • Set up and operate video equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, and editing software.
  • Capture and edit high-quality footage in line with client briefs and artistic direction.
  • Ensure the proper organization, storage, and backup of all digital files.
  • Conduct post-production of videos, including editing, color correction, and adding special effects.
  • Integrate music, sound effects, and voiceovers into videos.
  • Create storyboards and shot lists to outline the vision and structure of each project.
  • Review raw footage and select the best shots for the final product.
  • Conduct on-site and studio shoots, ensuring optimal lighting, sound, and composition.
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and clients to understand project goals and vision.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and advancements in videography.
  • Maintain and manage video equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as graphic designers and marketers, to support various projects.
  • Provide creative input and ideas during project development stages.
  • Ensure compliance with copyright and licensing requirements for music and other media.
  • Conduct quality checks and reviews to ensure videos meet technical and artistic standards.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Keep detailed records of project specifications, revisions, and client feedback.


Skills and Qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film, Media Production, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering visually captivating videos.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production requirements.
