Overview: 

At Vardot, we are committed to maintaining exceptional standards that go beyond the ordinary, and we're in search of a professional Mid-Level QA Engineer specializing in manual, API, and automation testing who shares our passion for excellence. As a QA Engineer, your role will involve reviewing software specifications, designing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with our development teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases tailored to project requirements. 
• Perform thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets project specifications. 
• Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project goals and ensure testing aligns with project timelines. 
• Automate test cases using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, SoapUI) to support regression testing and API testing effort.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover usability issues and ensure the robustness of our solutions. 
• Document and communicate test results and defects to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable feedback. 
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute to project success and continuous improvemen.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and methodologies tailored to project needs.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience in manual testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM) within project-based environments.
• Strong understanding of API testing and automation testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, and Selenium.
• Familiarity with web technologies architecture.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new projects, technologies, and client requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive mindset towards quality assurance.
