Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our Quality Control team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web testing using Selenium, mobile testing using Appium, and API testing with expertise in automation frameworks. Proficiency in Katalon is also required, This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Utilize Selenium for web testing, Appium for mobile testing, and integrate API testing within automation scripts.
• Collaborate with QC, development, and product teams to understand the requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Execute automated test scripts and ensure thorough coverage of all functionalities.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools. (JIRA).
• Work closely with development teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Utilize Katalon for test automation and management, ensuring efficient test execution and reporting.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools and frameworks.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the application can handle high traffic and stress conditions.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field.

- Proven experience in test automation with a focus on web, mobile, and API testing.

Technical Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Selenium and Appium for automated testing.

- Extensive experience in API testing, preferably using Postman.

- In-depth knowledge of Katalon in test automation.

- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.

Additional Skills:

- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.

- Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.
