Job Title: Safety Fire Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Safety Fire Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fire safety engineering, expertise in using relevant software for drawing and designing fire safety systems, and the ability to conduct site visits for supervision and quality assurance. The role requires a strong understanding of safety regulations, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and at least 10 years of professional experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design fire safety systems using relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Conduct site visits to monitor, supervise, and ensure proper implementation of fire safety measures on construction sites.
- Perform fire risk assessments, ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams regarding fire safety systems and equipment installation.
- Prepare and review fire safety plans, drawings, and reports for projects.
- Ensure the integration of fire safety systems with overall building design, including the selection and installation of fire alarms, suppression systems, and emergency exits.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure fire safety designs are implemented effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of fire protection systems and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of fire safety training programs for staff and clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in fire safety engineering, including hands-on experience with site supervision.
- Proficient in using Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant drawing/design software for fire safety systems.
- In-depth knowledge of local fire safety codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise teams on site.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NEBOSH certification (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) and IOSH certification (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) are a plus.
- Certification in fire protection engineering (e.g., CFPS or equivalent).
- Experience with advanced fire modeling software and systems.
- Knowledge of international fire safety standards (e.g., NFPA, BS, ISO).
