Sr. Regulatory Technology Officer (Regulatory Compliance)

Accountabilities & Key Roles :

  • Ensure optimized GRC decision taking by supporting the proper delivery and ownership (maintenance & control) of the Compliance Data Hub (Data Lake).
  • Perform data mining using state-of-the-art methods and enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
  • Verify data quality (availability, completeness, and integrity) by creating data analysis procedures applying trendy sciences, techniques and technologies.
  • Design and develop on-demand and automated as well as ad-hoc reports and data visualization dashboards to be consumed by decision makers and business reports.
  • Facilitate Data Science to build Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning models which are to be used to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of in the Regulatory Compliance Processes.
  • Develop Key Risk Indicators, Key Performance Indicators reports from internal/external data sources including Compliance Data Hub, other banking as well as external sources of data.
  • Participate in the delivery of technology driven regulatory and business solutions adopting waterfall and agile Software Development Life-Cycle practices.
  • Participate in the delivery of the Regulatory compliance programs and projects.
  • Participate in the technologies development and applications implementation related to Regulatory Compliance programs/projects to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and guidelines.
  • Create automated data anomaly detection systems and constant tracking and control of its sensibility and performance.
  • Act as a moderator in bridging the gap between business and IT Teams ensuring the alignment is met.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Degree in business, technology or a related field from a recognized University.
  • Internationally recognized certifications in Compliance, Financial Crime, IT/Technology or Project Management are a big plus.


Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience.


Competencies:

Technical:

  • Excellent Computer skills.
  • Proven knowledge in Software Development Life-Cycle and experience in delivering business applications’ projects.
  • Good understanding of Compliance practices and regulations.
  • Banking Experience and Knowledge (Plus).

Personal:

  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal Skills.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize/manage workload, and working under pressure.
