Work Experience, Educational Qualifications & Certifications 

·      6+ years of experience in similar domain

·      Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Science / Engineering.

·      Role – Working in Alpha Data NOC to support customers for network and security issues.

o  Handle day to day operations for N&S equipment

o  Troubleshoot breakfix issues

o  Perform Health Check / Preventive maintenance and to prepare regular reports.

o  Customer network monitoring and action on relevant alerts and alarms.

o  RCA preparation for critical issues

o  Fixing of vulnerabilities and perform upgrade and updates for N&S equipment

o  Co-ordination with OEM for fixing L3 issues

o  Facilitate effective and appropriate communication to all stake holders to meet SLAs and expectations.

·      Good communication and co-ordination skills

·      Certifications in Network & Security domain like CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Network+, Security+, OEM certifications like Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint etc.

·      General IT Certifications e.g. ITIL, COBIT foundation etc. are good to have.

Skill-Set Required

·      Hands on Experience for troubleshooting and operations of network and security issues

·      Worked on complex environment Banking, Enterprise etc.

·      Perform day to day tasks of network and security equipment like add/remove vlan, modify policies,

·      Good understanding of process and procedures like Incident mgmt, Change mgmt., problem mgmt. etc.

·      Hardening of equipment as per industry best practices

·      Participate in compliance/vulnerability assessment scanning, and develop mitigation and remediation plans from the assessment findings (on network devices)

·      Investigate, document, and report issues

·      Integrate and share information with other analysts and other teams.

·      Assist the team in the SOC enhancement activities like creating the knowledge base on the previously known internal and external threats.

·      Work with SOC and server teams to fix complex issues
