Senior Supply & Logistics Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

Lead, plan and manage all operations within the Supply & Logistics function ensuring safe, economic, smooth and timely distribution, availability and supply of Lubricant products to all ADNOC Distribution depots, Service Stations, and customers sites throughout target markets, overseeing safe and efficient product supply, dispatch, transportation and delivery as per plan and according to sales orders and service level agreements, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Operations Management

 Direct and control all operations of the Supply, Logistics and Inventory Management functions to assure alignment with overall commercial strategy and sales plans.

 Oversee preparation of daily product distribution program for prompt delivery of products to depots and customers as per requirements in coordination with Sales, Regions and Commercial Divisions.

 Manage and assure timely availability of sufficient stock of Lubricant products in assigned terminals, depots, stations, and customer locations in coordination with internal stakeholders, whilst ensuring effective loss control, quality control and safe handling of products and equipment.  Direct, coordinate and supervise the activities of Product Supply staff to ensure continuous and uninterrupted supply of products to all depots, Service Stations and customers sites.

 Manage effective and timely liaison with productions & operations to ensure availability of products as per requirements; ensuring quality of products is as per ADNOC Distribution Sales Specifications.

 Approve Quantity Certificate in accordance with received quantities, and contractor’s haulage statements on delivery/receipt of product.

 Ensure prompt follow up of PDN/PTNs, and timely update of registers and database, validating that cancellations and errors in issuing PDN/PTNs are minimized and reasons for cancellation are recorded and forwarded to Product Supply for further action.

 Monitor daily dispatch report for pending deliveries and ensure that all delivery orders have been cleared.

 Ensure optimal utilisation of company and contractor road tankers for delivery of products.

 Coordinate and follows up contamination, spillage and sucking of products at customers and filling stations.

 Review and approves haulage contractor vehicles records and monthly vehicle performance reports to validate alignment with defined service level agreements.

 Ensure safe handling and safe operation of all equipment and installations in accordance with H&SE regulations.

 Control and follow up daily pumpable stock position of various products in all depots and storages as per schedules and that all necessary quality checks are carried out in accordance with procedures.  Attend any emergency situations (including road accidents, serious breakdowns, spillage, etc.) involving any company or contractor vehicles transporting products to customers, or depots in line with the HSE guidelines.  Lead the effective coordination with Maintenance and HSE for any maintenance or modification needs of all static equipment and installations as well as pipelines.

 Pre-qualification of vendors in coordination with concern departments.

 Support the Lubricants Division for long/short term contracts & evaluations of service providers.

 Monitor & control Base Oil storage facilities & transportations with third party provider.

 Control & follow up with procurement division of arranging queries goods & additives on requested date.

 Monitor & control end to end procurement transactions & provide detail reports.

 Laisse with the suppliers for continuous business support.

 Follow up & make sure of registration of new vendors for business purpose.

 Close coordination with finance for products costing & formulations.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.


Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • 10 years of experience in Refinery Depot operations, of which at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in the retail sector or in a similar environment
  • Multi-functional operational management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of business workflows, operations processes and systems.
  • Experience of developing strategic plans for service-based industry.
  • Strong experience in project management and the execution of complex projects that are critical to the delivery of business strategies and goals.
  • Ability to drive organizational climate/culture.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
