Dubai Holding Asset Management is looking for a CAD Planner to join the Development and Technical Services team.

The role holder is responsible for preparation, maintenance, control and retrieval of CAD drawings, design packages and schematics in support of the organization’s engineering planning function in order to accomplish all CAD architectural & MEP tasks during fit-outs, property unit area validation and O&M (Operation & Maintenance) phase of projects lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities

Design Spaces & Layouts

• Control and administer all as-built drawings, registers, and information systems as per the approved formal procedures.

• Prepare and modify drawings of master plans, engineering works, in line with project requirements using AutoCAD software to ensure all related project specifications are met.

• Provide drawings and data with respect to master plans, engineering works, and site plans to internal and external clients upon request.

• Maintain the accuracy of the CAD drawing records by incorporating details of all changes and prepare and amend "as built" drawings in accordance with information received to reflect the updated status on the ‘as built’ drawings.

• Incorporate the approved fit-out proposals and modifications to the as-built and maintain updated (fit-out incorporated) as-built data base.

• Carry out site validation to confirm the area and fit out status as per site condition.

Documentation & Database Maintenance

• Upgrade and manage the CAD filing system to ensure proper document control and easy retrieval of information at all times.

• Archive construction as-built drawings as and when new buildings are handed over and ensure the database maintenance on an ongoing basis.

Additional Support

• Assist in leasable and GFA area calculation and prepare area schedule for each building.

• Provide any additional information needed by answering questions and requests regarding space design.

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, with sound knowledge of CAD.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Architecture, Urban Planning and CAD functions.

Technical Competencies

• Excellent knowledge of CAD Design techniques.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, ideally with exposure to building design and as-built drawings creation, update and archiving.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
