Faculty/ Directorate

The faculty of Health and Life Sciences (HLS) is home to a diverse range of courses across, taught by experienced academics in professional facilities equipped with cutting-edge technology.

The Role

This is a none teaching role, the faculty is seeking an experienced technician in the subject of Psychology to support the development, delivery and management of courses offered at DMU Dubai.

The purpose of the role is to provide a technical support service primarily to students and staff in Psychology subject areas. This includes training, practical assistance and advice in the use of specialist equipment, techniques and computer software in designated Psychology rooms, suites and laboratories.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have a BSc in Psychology or related discipline. You will have experience in a Higher Education setting, able to work in a team and have the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks and goals. You should have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and students both individually and in groups. You must have knowledge of Health and Safety requirements pertaining to teaching environments.
