JOB OBJECTIVE

Maintain general ledger accounts and performing month-end account closing activities to prepare trial balance and reconciling financial statements for Dubai Economy & Tourism and the entities, conducting audit audits on the accuracy of our financial information, providing assurance that our accounting practices adhere to regulations, reconciling banks entries with the with general ledger accounts, performing accounting analyses and reporting financial statement to support decision-making purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure preparing financial statements for DET that accounting practices adhere to standard accounting principles and procedures of Dubai Government
• Reviewing and performing audits on financial data and accounting entries for all accounting practices to assure its accuracy and truthfulness based on financial legislation and general standards of Dubai
• Reconciling accounting analysis for cash and accruals balances, identifying variances, performing appropriate accounting entries and ensuring the accuracy of financial information
• Collects, verifies and analyses all receivables related to the company's economic, fiscal and financial activities
• Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping
• Preparing the consolidated accounting and financial statements analyzing the consolidated statements with the obtained results, and then integrating the consolidation restatement entries in accordance with IPSAS standards
• Collaborating with internal audit to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information
• Generate and present financial statements including trial balance, statement of financial position and other statements according to accurate financial planning and regulatory compliance in Dubai Government
• Providing innovative ideas to enhance work procedures and practices
