Our team focuses on playing the role of lead financial advisers in sell-side and buy-side transactions.
Responsibilities
As a Corporate Finance Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
- Working on a particular transaction (sale, merger and acquisition (M&A) and financing) or business development efforts (pitches)
- Supporting the team in the preparation and presentation of marketing pitches to existing and potential clients
- Conducting thorough research on companies and industries
- Obtaining needed information from available client data and conducting appropriate financial analysis
- Assisting in the preparation of internal and external marketing materials (teaser, confidential information memorandum (CIM), management presentation, etc.)
- Preparing financial models to support analysis in proposals and transaction documentation
- Identifying key strategic & financial buyers/investors
- Managing the transaction’s status reports and more
- Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Requirements
- Hands on work experience in a financial modeling development or professional Corporate Finance environment
- Exposure in end-to-end Merger & Acquisition deal execution
- Comprehensive financial and accounting skills and solid understanding of cash flow, financial modelling (would be an asset) and valuation methodologies (would be an asset)
- Eager to participate in business development opportunities and initiatives
- Passionate about delivery of work and has a strong desire to succeed by learning from colleagues and creating collaborative relationships at all levels
- Motivated to build excellent working relationships and meet deadlines successfully in a fast paced & dynamic environment
- Ability to identify risk issues
- Confident communicator and can deliver messages with impact to a wide variety of audiences
- Keen to leverage technology enabled and digital tools to achieve efficient delivery for our clients
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to understand key business drivers
- Ability to take initiative to manage numerous projects simultaneously under time constraints
- Arabic speaking considered a plus
- Your flexibility to travel 40%-60% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
