Role Overview: We are looking for a Holiday Specialist experienced in handling both global and India tours. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Malayalam and have strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of travel logistics, and a passion for creating outstanding travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tour Planning & Coordination: Design, plan, and coordinate global and India tours to meet client needs and preferences.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for handling Local clients and Malayalam-speaking clients, remotely offering personalized service and expert advice.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with local and international vendors, including hotels, airlines, and tour operators.
- Market Research: Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and industry practices to provide informed recommendations.
- Support & Communication: Coordinate with the office in India to ensure effective communication and support.
- Documentation & Compliance: Manage documentation, bookings, and compliance for international and domestic travel.
- Customer Service: Address and resolve any issues during the planning or execution of tours.
Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Fluency in Malayalam and proficiency in English are required; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, focusing on global and India tours.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of popular destinations, tour packages, and logistics.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities; proficient in travel booking software.
- Education: Relevant degree or certification in travel and tourism or a related field.
