Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Urban Planner at ASALI in Amman. The Urban Planner will be responsible for land use planning, urban planning, and utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for projects. They will also be involved in writing reports and proposals related to planning and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, or related field
• Several years of experience in urban planning, Land Use Planning, and Planning skills
• Strong writing skills
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainable practices
• Collaborative teamwork and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects.
• Proficiency in urban planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS, GIS tools, SketchUp).
