About the role:


The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures according to end-user requirements. This role includes implementing quality control plans, managing project documentation, and collaborating with vendors to ensure adherence to project specifications and compliance with end-user inquiries.


What you will work on:


  • Handling supplier document requirement list (SDRL): Verifying vendor’s quality documents, such as factory accreditations, materials certifications, applicable procedures and plans, and submitting them to the end-user within the required time frame to ensure that supplied material meets the customer's expectations and conforms to their specific standards.


  • Updating Documents LOG -Project: Updating the Documents Log-Project on a regular basis is a crucial aspect of ensuring effective document control. This involves accurately recording all document-related activities, including revisions, approvals, and codes, in order to maintain traceability, timely project start, and enable efficient retrieval of documents when needed.


  • Manage third party inspection: Conducting quality inspections of products to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities and according to the approved inspection test plan to determine if corrective action is necessary in additional to the arrangement of the Certificate of the inspection in order to meet the import regulation requirement.


  • Resolving Customer Claim: Register client claims in the ERP system with a clear description of the end user findings, integrating discrepancies with the manufacturer. Utilize root cause analysis tools, such as fishbone diagrams, and ensure the timely updating of claim statuses to facilitate responses and closure within the required timeframe. Implement necessary corrections and corrective actions as required.


  • Preparing project closeout: Preparing project closeout involves compiling and reviewing all project documentation, deliverables, and outcomes to ensure compliance with project requirements. This process also includes conducting post-project evaluations and ensuring all stakeholders have received the necessary project reports and documentation.


  • Assess and Revise Existing Policies and Procedures for ISO Alignment: Review and assess existing policies and procedures to identify areas that require revision or improvement in order to ensure alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards.


  • Resolve technical issues that might be raised before or during the course of production: Coordinate with the vendors and end user to solve any technical issue that might be raised before or during the course of production to ensure that end user is getting the right material according to the required application.




Your Areas of Expertise:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of total work experience in the quality field.
  • Relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry is also highly preferred.
  • knowledge of regulations and international quality standards is essential.
  • Experience in reading technical documents such as drawing and specification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with quality control test types.
  • Ability to read drawings and technical material.
  • Nice to have Certification in quality control such as six sigma, ISO.
