Overview
Direct and coordinate the demand, supply, and forecast planning for the Food and Non-Food divisions to optimize costs, improve accuracy, and enhance processes. Drive innovation through the development and implementation of new procedures and policies (e.g., SOPs, SLAs, Toolkits, Workflows) while contributing to the organization’s long-term strategic business objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
Demand & Supply Strategies:
- Develop tailored demand and supply chain strategies for each division in alignment with evolving environmental policies, industry standards, competitive dynamics, and regulations.
Order Management:
- Oversee order management to ensure maximum availability of products and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Supplier Performance Evaluation:
- Assess supplier performance (SPI) against demand, supply, quality, and delivery metrics.
- Engage with suppliers to discuss performance outcomes and align on forecasts and improvement initiatives.
KPI Monitoring & Improvement:
- Monitor divisional performance using scorecards to track KPIs.
- Collaborate with department leads to recommend and implement corrective actions.
Procurement Budget Planning:
- Work with Finance, Sales, and Business Development teams to establish annual sales, shipment, and procurement budgets.
Service Level Agreements (SLAs):
- Negotiate and formalize SLAs with suppliers and clearing agents to ensure adherence to agreed practices and cost efficiency.
Project & Policy Leadership:
- Guide divisional projects, policies, and procedures to ensure timely execution.
- Contribute to corporate-level demand and supply chain initiatives.
Training & Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the department to maximize team potential.
- Implement improvement programs to enhance operational effectiveness.
Role Requirements:
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (preferred).
- Master’s degree (preferred).
- Certified qualifications in Demand/Supply Chain Management (mandatory).
Experience:
- Over 5 years of managerial experience in demand and supply chain fields.
